Hellooooooo, my peeps! 

Where have I been, you've been asking.....

On a Blog-cation all summer.  

Wow,  the last time I blogged was MOTHER'S DAY!!
I've missed you guys! 
But that hasn't stopped me from

reading all of your posts!

I have been busy working on plans to make my house into a cozy home.   

We purchased our present home in January 2006, 

and I have HATED IT FOR 7 YEARS!

I've decided, if I hated my home this much, 

why don't I just change it and make it my own! 

 Duhhhh!!!

So here we go!!
My kitchen has been bugging me for a while now.
My kitchen has 
2 STALKER WINDOWS!!
Underneath my cabinets, there are two windows that let in a ton of light during the day, but at night I call them my 
STALKER WINDOWS!! 
My neighbors can see everything in my kitchen when I have the lights on at night... 
EEEwwwwww...Right!

Please ignore the pile of dishes in the sink and the cluttered countertops :-)
Just keeping' it real!!
I need to cover them.
So would it be: 
New Windows...NO....CHA CHING....$$$ 
New Curtains.... NO....CHA CHING....$$$ 
Window Film $20....NO....CHA CHING....$$$ 
Whalla!!!  FROSTED GLASS SPRAY - Home Depot - $3.76!! 
MY KINDA DEAL.

Taped off the windows and applied the first coat. 
 Let dry 15 min.

After 4 coats!! 
AMAZING.

See Ya Creepers!!

Aaaahhhh...Magic in a Can!!  

I feel better walking around my kitchen at night now.  

An easy and inexpensive fix!

Don't you just love it!

PAINTED FENCES "THE NEW CLEAN LOOK"

I really "HATED" the color of my backyard fence!  So While "hubs" was away in New York, I decided to spruce things up a bit.  I decided to paint my fence.  I loved the clean fence color over at TOOTSIETIME'S BLOG.  Love her Blog!  So I decide to change mine to something similar.

HERE IS THE BEFORE......

It just seems so gloomy.

AND NOW HERE IS THE AFTER!! 

 I JUST LOVE IT!!

Looks so much cleaner!

BOARD & BATTEN~JORDAN'S BEDROOM ~ DONE!

WOW.....It's done.  Paint is dry, new bedding and pillows on bed, carpets vacuumed and shampooed.  

I am so amazed at myself for doing this for the very first time!

My daughter and my little guy wants me to do their rooms next.

The blanket is so amazingly soft!  And yes,  that's the same bunk bed!
I transformed it into a full size bed.

I just want to stay in this room all DAY!!

WAINSCOTING FINALLY DONE!!

Yeah, my first attempt of Wainscoting is finally done.  

And I am loving it!!  What do you think?  

I think it turned out great.  

NEXT step....Paint and decorating!!

BIG BOY'S ROOM REMODEL PART 2

This is Part 2 of my son's Remodel.  Wallpaper is GONE!! Whoohooo!!  

Walpaper Removal Tip: Use Fabric Softener, diluted with water instead of those harsh Chemicals they sell in the stores.  And, it smells amazing too!

BIG BOY'S BEDROOM REMODEL

 I just wanted to share some pictures of my plans while I remodel my Big boy's bedroom. 

 I will post more pictures as I get done.  

He has been living in a little boy's room for so long

I thought it was due time to match the bedroom to the boy.

REINDEER NOSES!

I have been MIA for what seems like FOREVER!!  

 I have been baking, and baking, aaand baking, also shopping and getting ready for Christmas.  

Today I completed 27 treats for my little guys class at school. 

 I just loved this idea from Zoe over @ A Personal Touch.  

Instead of using red gumballs, I used red kisses because the only red gumballs I could find were Red Hot Cinnamon and I really don't think my son and his little 5th grade friends would like that too much.  

So here they are.....

Aren't they just the cutest little herd of Reindeer!!   

 My son said that everyone was calling it..."REINDEER POOP" :-)  It kinda did look like Reindeer "POOP"  but of course didn't taste like that :-)

HALLOWEEN 2011 COSTUME!

My daughter needed a quick last minute costume for her Young Women's Halloween Party at our church, and we didn't have anything on hand.  So I decided to challenge myself and make her something.  I have a sewing machine but rarely use it.
After looking through her friends old costumes, this is what she wanted me to make.  She wanted to be an "OREO COOKIE", quick and easy!!

SPOTLIGHT!

My son, had his SPOTLIGHT today. I got to stand in front of his class and brag about him! He thinks I embarrass him when I show his baby pictures! What do you think...would this embarrass you? He's now 10 years old....where did the time go????

Ok...so I made these for him to share with his class after my presentation. They were super easy to put together!
