RIBBON STORAGE

I finally found an easy and cheap storage solution for my
"Out Of Control"ribbons!
I have 4 more drawers like this!

Recipe:
Ribbons (of course)
Mat Board (Cut @ 3 x 2 & 1/2)
Rubber Bands

I purchased the Mat Board from BEN FRANKLIN CRAFTS.
Thanks a bunch Jana,
for cutting all those Mat boards for me!
You ROCK!

This is what my drawers look like now!!
It's so much easier to find whatever ribbon I'm looking for!

It took me a little while to get them all done,
but now that they are all organized,
I am so loving my ribbons!
Have a great day.
;-)

  11. I did the same thing a while back and it is so worth doing. I have 140 spools of ribbon in one drawer and it is easy to find. Awesome. love the dividers you have in the drawers. Where did you get them. lindamilroy@hotmail.com or www.thefruitofmyhands.blogspot.con

  12. HI - Wow,I love that idea! What did you use for drawer dividers? Or did you buy special drawers with the dividers built in?

  13. did the same thing to my ribbon about 3 years ago and have not regretted it one bit. It is the easiest organizational system I have tried so far and now I am actually using up my ribbon and fibers.

  20. I wrapped mine on cardboard squares (about 6" x 4") and have about 4-5 of similar color ribbons on each card. They are placed inside a rectangle basket. It is beautiful and space efficient. I have discovered that the ribbon will not be completely flat if stored this way for a long time. I imagine an iron would fix this.
