It was my oldest son's birthday yesterday (August 1st)!!
Oh my goodness....where did the years go???
Flash back..... we were just driving this itty bitty baby home from the hospital. We got so very upset because as we were driving at a snails pace, everyone around us (on the highway) were beeping and passing us by!! And now here he is this 15 year old asking me to get his Drivers Permit!!! I could just DIE!! Why do they have to grow up???
Just grin and bear it, I tell myself!!
Here is the card I created for him. He got a kick out of it!!
He took the Driving Permit test and of course he PASSED!!
Watch out everyone....another crazy driver on the road :-)
Until later....
Well, happy birthday to Jordan, and congratulations on passing the test for his permit!!! Yes, he definitely looks proud of himself for sure...lol!!!

ReplyDeleteHappy birthday to your son! Yes, they grow up way too fast. My son will be turning 18 this month and I am in denial. You made a great card....loved it!
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet smile!!! Perfect card for 15 :)
ReplyDeleteHAPPY B Day! Great card.
ReplyDeleteAwww, they all grow up don't they. Very cute card and sentiment. It's funny what you said about driving him home from the hospital. I can remember having the same experience with my daughter (now 22!) when we brought her home from the hospital. In fact, I sat in the back seat with her in the baby seat. And I felt SO NERVOUS. Here we were with this tiny human being totally under our control. I couldn't wait to get home. Thanks for sharing your story, Karen.--Pat N.
ReplyDeleteOh, Happy Birthday to Jordan! He looks so proud holding his permit! Are you doing okay Karen? I feel your pain, they do grow up way too fast. My baby is going to be 17 in September and I'm about ready to have an empty nest breakdown already! I really have no idea what I'm going to do when he leaves home but I'm not going to think about it now....nope, I refuse. lol
ReplyDeleteHope you have a great weekend!
