Ok....I'm about to loose my mind........Are you ready for this!!!
1) Still waiting for my (Blog Candy) mail to come! (If it's not here by Monday, I will post it with a pic along with the rest of the FUN STUFF I have ready to give away)
&
2) My Little Man (my son) broke his arm today !!
Oh my, He got so excited when he realized that his big sister's rollerblades fit him. He couldn't wait for his big brother to put on his protective gear. His older brother only got to put his helmet on, then he took off down the driveway! That's when it happened....I can't handle when my kids get hurt. I wish I could just wave a magic sock, (preferable one that's been washed w/no holes....) and wish all the pain back to me! I am so happy my dear husband was home when this happened! He scooped him up in his arms and rushed him to the Emergency room...OUR HERO...(while I was hiding inside booohoooing my eyes out :(
I am so bad when it comes to things of this nature.
This is how bad I get....when I bring my little Mojo in to get her shots at the vet's, I have to leave the room!
My Little Man was so brave...Dad told me! Here he is after the doctor reset the bone and they came home from the ER.
How do you like the PINK signature!! He's doing so much better now. (And so am I). Thanks for hearing me BABBLE......
Bug Hugs!
oh No!! I hope he heals quickly! I was lucky enough never to have broken a bone as a child. No kids yet, but I am sure I would be the same way! Hope the rest of your weekend turns out better.
ReplyDeleteI wish your son a speedy recovery! I know exactly how you feel..I would much rather have been sick or hurt when my kids were litte too. Although I tend to jump into action when an accident occurs, I fall apart afterwards!!
ReplyDeletePoor kid (and mama!!!) - hope he's not hurting too badly! :( I'm with you on wishing I could transfer the pain to myself vs my boys - I just can't take it when they are hurt!! ((hugs)) to you both!
ReplyDeleteOh no! Not a helpful day. I'm with you on not being able to handle emergency wards with our kids. Ergh. At least you know tomorrow that your son will not be doing anything risky that might break a bone,(lol), the mail is sure to come and you might even find some time to create in it all! Hope the sun shines on you tomorrow! x
ReplyDeleteHope your little man is feeling better! I'm like you and can't take watching my kids in pain! I have to turn my head when they would get there shots and here I was telling them it wouldn't hurt!!! Hey were moms:):)

I'm so sorry to hear about your little man. I remember when my oldest was young and broke her wrist rollerblading...same age as myself when I was a kid and broke mine skating...:)
ReplyDeleteHope he feels better soon.
On the not getting mail....I'm still waiting for my copic markers that I ordered 10 days ago and they said they were shipped a long time ago! Ugh this stinks having to wait and keep hoping they get here. I sure hope they didn't go to some other house...lol
Hope you get your stuff soon. Take care and have a super Sunday.
hugs,jen
Karen: Your breaking my heart (or should I say your son is breaking my heart)? I hurt when my kids were growing up and got hurt....and now that I'm a grandma.....It hurts even MORE when my grandkids get hurt. Many healing hugs to your son for a quick on and off with that cast - and SUPER HUGS to you for the road to recovery till the next accident. STAY STRONG and SMILING! Hope everyone feels better SOON!
ReplyDeleteAww, poor little guy!! It is funny how it hurts us more than them, huh?
ReplyDeleteOH NO!!!!!!!!! My heart always sink when it comes to my babies getting hurt! I'm glad he's doing better, but sorry he broke his arm! Big hugs!!!
ReplyDeleteOMG ~ so sorry about your son! I understand, when my kids hurt I pray that the pain goes away quickly and if I could take the pain for them I will. Hope he has a quick recovery!

Oh My! I hope your son recovers quickly! It's noooo fun when you break bones! :o) I guess he learned a valuable lesson.... WAIT to put on the PROTECTIVE GEAR! LOL I guess since you have to wait for the mail... you might as well create something... Maybe a page about your son and his broke arm... or make a get well card for him... Hopefully that will past the time so you don't think about the late package! :o)
ReplyDeleteOh Bless Your Heart!!! We were very Blessed with no broken bones from our two. Our son had a hairline fracture on his foot, so no cast. I still don't like it when they are sick or hurt and they are grown/married w/children of their own. I hurt when the Grands do, too!! Hope your son heals quickly!! :)
ReplyDeleteawe!!! Good wishes for a speedy recovery! That's just how it is.....we hurt more than they hurt. I tell my hubby that I wish my kids could live in a bubble....:( Take care!
