Project 81 - "VALENTINE'S DAY CRITTERS"!

My little guy's class, is having a Valentine's Party at school on Monday.

I am in charge of doing Crafts!  

Yeah!  

I needed to come up with something that 

both the boys and girls would love to do.   

 I saw this idea in a kit at Michaels,

 but if you know me, 

I have to find a way to recreate it

 "MY WAY" 

:D  

This is what I came up with!

Recipe:

PomPoms(Hobby Lobby)

Hot Glue/Gun

Foam Hearts-different sizes (Walmart)

Googly Eyes (Walmart)

Shimmer Sticks (Walmart)

 I hot glued the Pom Pom to the glitter side of the foam heart, .....

 Cut the Shimmer Stick, 2 pieces for the antennae.....

 Glued the Shimmer Stick pieces to the back of the smaller hearts....

 I used my Imaginisce, battery operated, hot pink glue gun for the first time....it ROCKS!  No more cords :D

 Attached the antennae's and 2 goggly eye's to the Pom Pom......

 Glued the "Happy Valentine's Day" to the back of the antennae heart...

On another note.......Please, a word of caution when operating a HOT GLUE at 12:30 in the morning, while exhausted...... This is what will happen!  See the white heart shaped blister on my ring finger......

Busy Bug Babble - Music........

.........  I tried once to put music on my blog and found out that it SLLLLOOOOOOWWWWSS down your blog tremendously!  I have visited a couple blogs that have music on them and I had to get off really FAST!!  I couldn't scroll down, to see your lovely blogs, because every time I would touch my mouse to scroll down, I would get the dreaded......

 "RAINBOW WHEEL" 

I would really love to explore your blogs, and see your lovely creations, so,  please, please, please, either put the music button on the top of your blog page, so that we can choose to turn it down, or off.

Project 79 - My Pink Stamper Challenge!

I'm entering a challenge over at My Pink Stamper.  

The challenge is to create something 

"Springy, or for Valentine's Day, or anything that makes me Happy!  

The card I made for this challenge really makes me feel  

HAPPY  and makes me think of springtime, 

when all the little critters are running around.

Project 78 - Primary Lesson

Here is what I did for my Primary Class today.  After class, I could hear the children blowing their  flutes (trumpets) all the way down the hall!

 

 I put magnets on the back of these for the kids to put on their fridge.

Project 77 - "Slam Dunk!"

Hi everyone,  I have been "missing in action" for a little while now.  I needed to take a little time off to focus on my family.  But, I'm back..   :D   My little guy (my son) had a basketball game today and I was in charge of bringing treats for him and his teammates.  My son requested frosted doughnuts.  This is what I did with them :D

 My little guy loved them.  

He was so proud to bring them to his game!

Project 70 - "You're A Peach"

I made this card for the parent who taught my Primary Class on Sunday.   Thanks Christina!  I used the new Welcome Spring Cricut Cartridge, Robyn (The Pink Stamper) stamp ~ "Fruit & Veggie Puns" and yellow embossing powder.  Happy Wednesday....
