Project #6 - 30 DAYS OF CREATIVITY CHALLENGE - DAY 2
Hi everyone. I was at the Scrapbook USA Expo in Sandy Utah today, as you all can tell from reading my other posts, and stopped by the Cricut Imagine Booth. They had a make-n-take using the Cricut Imagine (great machine). And so, I decided to use it in my Challenge today. It's a little gift box. So, so cute! Enjoy!

Scrapbook USA Expo, Sandy, Utah 2010
Wow, that was fun today! I had such a good time today hanging out with people who share the same interest , SCRAPBOOKING, Stamping & Crafts!! There were so many booths! I met so many fun people. And guess which booth was right smack in front.......CRICUT IMAGINE!! I got to see first hand how it works. I gotta have one!!! :-) The Provo Rep told me that on September 14, 2010 HSN will be hosting a World Launch, of the Cricut Imagine at 12:01am. Weird time! I'll be watching for sure. She also said the price will be around $499.
Here are some pic...Enjoy!!

Here is my daughter and my son posing with the Cricut goggles! Aren't they just the cutest!

Busy Bug Babble... TAPE TIP FOR VINYL
Instead of using Transfer Tape with your Vinyl projects, use General Purpose Masking Tape. Costs a lot less and lasts longer! Make sure it says General Purpose because the other kinds are too sticky and your vinyl will stick to it!

Project #4 - IKEA PAPER STORAGE BOX MAKEOVER.

Today I thought I would start cleaning my scrapbook room....I'll be posting my progress as I go. I decided to work on my paper storage boxes that I purchased from Ikea a while ago. I have been wondering what to do with them. Well, I finally got my MOJO back, so here is what I did!!
The Recipe:
Storage Boxes
Fabri-Tac adhesive (the best)
Ribbon of your choice
Scissors or a Rotary Cutter
Ruler (optional)
Fray Check (find it in the fabric dept)
Cindy Loo Cricut Cartridge (optional)
1) Measure the width of the box where you will be putting the ribbon and cut. The rotary cutter came in real handy here.
2)Put Fabri-Tac around the edges of the ribbon.
3) Attach ribbon to the box.
There was something missing, so I decided to use my Cindy Loo Cricut Cartridge. Page 39- Border. Also, I use the General Purpose Duct Tape from Walmart instead of Transfer Tape. Works just as good but way cheaper!
And what do you know. Outstanding!! Have a wonderful day!
